    Thanks for the video, I know it takes time and effort and the meaning is in all good intentions , but I do question your soldering iron, I will say that is got to be the worst iron I have ever seen. I'm amazed it could even heat transfer and all the gunk on it full of contamination, I would be worried that your solder joints are going to fail. I clean my irons every three or four spots . But what do I know ? I just restore vintage amplifiers and Ham radios as a part time business.

    Well, i am with aaronspencer1880 in that points, that you need to take ensure that the pad place of the removed chip should be clean from flux and solder. Flux is your fried - i aggree, but use them as less as you can. The chip swim into the flux and this will be bad in the future because it's nasty and corrosive. Cleaning and preparing the pads is the most important work that have to be done to get a solid and reliable solution.

    Your circuit has no battery protection circuit. Lithium batteries are dangerous when not properly used. Your circuit could very easily over discharge your battery making it a fire hazard
